Acute Sports Injuries
Introduction
Acute Sports Injuries
With an acute sporting injury, it is essential following a comprehensive assessment to establish a clear diagnosis and prognosis regarding which structures as involved and what degree of damage has occurred. Occasionally, we may need more in-depth investigation through the use of imaging (eg, MRI) to help create a suitable onward management plan which we can facilitate.
After a diagnosis and prognosis is established, a plan will be created outlining a clear strategy to progress through each phase of rehab, from the hyperacute to returning to play. Nothing will be left to chance as clear objectives will be set and monitored throughout the process to ensure that you become a more robust and conditioned version of yourself.
Our therapists have a wide range of skills and specialist interests regarding sporting injuries and exercise so you will be in capable hands during your rehab journey.
