Sedentary lifestyles are becoming the norm and with the growth of technology we find ourselves sat behind a computer screen or with a mobile device in our hand more than ever. As a result, neck pain in on the rise.
Episodes of neck pain can vary dramatically from person to person as there are several different structures that can contribute to your experience of pain. As expected, neck pain is most commonly noted around the sides or back of your neck but can also project pain to your mid-back, shoulder blade or arm/hand.
Identifying the true cause of your neck pain is fundamental to our treatment and onward management plan. This will always involve taking a detailed history to gain a full understanding of your lifestyle/working habits, as well as building an awareness of the stresses your body has been experiencing.
